I have 5 years of aircraft sheet metal aerospace experience with the tasks, duties and responsibilities focusing on:
• remove and replace various fasteners, locating and drilling holes in conjunction with the removal and replacement of wing ribs and fittings
• with engineers, planners, and supervisors to develop procedures, and determine materials to be used
• Interprets complex plans, blue prints, drawings, and specifications
• Performs fabrication using special jigs and holding fixtures
• Solves fabrication, assembly, and related problems
• Applies a thorough knowledge of materials, metal, and honeycomb core to plan and layout work in manufacturing aircraft parts and components that have straight and curved edges, irregular angles, planes and curves
In addition to my extensive experience, I have depth knowledge of a wide range of aircraft sheet metal repairs, be able to read blueprints, data tables, and other specs to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components, be able to obtain and maintain a favorable security clearance. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Aircraft Structures position.
