I was excited to read about Commercial Aircraft Delivery Specialist job opening at Bell Helicopter Textron.

I have Bachelors degree in engineering with A&P license and Green Belt Certified. I have 10 years of aerospace experience, 5 years technical aircraft completion/aircraft maintenance experience and 3 years of a combination of the following experience: customer relationship management, contracts, sales, marketing, proposals, finance, project management experience, with the tasks, duties and responsibilities focusing on:

• Is the principal interface between company and the customer post contract award. Develops processes and procedures to be used at all delivery locations to ensure a consistent and satisfactory delivery experience. Outcome: customer satisfaction from contract award through delivery process.
• Gathers customer’s configuration requirments from the salesperson and/or direct with the customer with sufficient lead time to accommodate production and completion requirments. Outcome: aircraft configuration provided to manufacturing and completion facilities with sufficient lead time.
• Ensures a swift, and fully compliant processing of the customer’s order through the Firepond system. Outcome: Purchase Agreements & PA Ammendments process quickly and compliantly through system.
• Interfaces with procurement specialists and directly with completion facilities to develop the esimated “span time” for each aircraft’s completion activity. Outcome: understanding of required span of time for completion activity based on configuration.
• Alerts the applicable functions of special FAA/foreign cert regulatory requirments pertinent to the customer’s selected configuration. Outcome: customer and internal departments cognizant of issues and responsibilities relative to FAA / foreign cert for customer’s configuration.
