Manage and coordinate all aspects of a highway/bridge corridor project, including the design (highway/bridge, hydraulics, survey, etc.), corridor development (ROW, utilities, regulatory agencies, etc.), leadership (public involvement, programming, etc.), and construction planning (MOT, packaging, etc.)

Coordinate information into and out of an advanced information management system that will continually monitor budgets (program-wide), schedule, cash flow, and work flow from the NEPA document through the beginning of construction
Coordinate efforts of all key project lead managers to ensure on-time delivery, meeting of all scheduled milestones, and budget adherence.
Assemble and analyze all risk associated with complex projects and assist in developing mitigation plans that minimize these risks
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project goals and status to both the client and the general public

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess:

A strong expertise in highway or bridge design Good working knowledge of project controls, including scheduling (earned Value or like), budgeting, information systems, etc.
Good working knowledge of corridor development activities including ROW, utilities, environmental, permits, etc.
Familiar with NEPA requirements and regulatory agency coordination Proven project management performance (successful budget and schedule adherence).

Requirements:

Experience at delivering projects for a state department of transportation
Excellent written/communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
A minimum of 15 years of highway/roadway project management experience.
A PE license.
