Construction Materials Project Manager: Chicago IL

Construction Materials Project Manager. Education: BS in Civil Engineering or related field. Recent college grads welcome to apply. Experience: 2-4 years related experience. Skills: Proficiency in oral and written communication, and strong project management skills. Understanding of soil mechanics, evaluation techniques and experience in managing construction materials testing projects.

Responsibilities: Project management of construction materials testing projects, including testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt pavement. Additional responsibilities include application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring project process, performance and budgetary conditions, assisting with marketing to new and existing clients, proposal preparation, business development, as well as attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution to both technical and administrative problems. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
