Qualifications

Key Accountibilities and Responsibilities: Technology:Ensures that the technology solution addresses the customer’s requirements identified during the project life-cycle, while being deliverable within the project’s time and budget constraints. People:Directs and motivates the project team, and establishes an effective climate for achieving positive working relations with other stakeholders (e.g., customer, subcontractors, and CSC management). Customer:Acts as CSC’s main point of contact with the customer and is responsible for communication outside the project. Understands customer goals and requirements and manages customer expectations and dependencies. Business:Understands both CSC’s and the customer’s business context and how the project impacts both. Maintains an awareness of changing business needs and external influences, and recognizes their potential impact on project goals. Financial:Achieves contractual commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule. Facilitates the review of risks and develops appropriate risk mitigation plans. Oversees and is responsible for IWOs, facility and hardware contracts, the accuracy of customer invoices, subcontractor invoice verification, and account receivable collections.

Overall Role purpose: Leads a team to deliver project(s) on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed-upon customer requirements and specifications within the scope of the project. Responsible for the appropriateness , quality, and timeliness of all aspects of the project. Manages the production of project estimates and the project schedule. Establishes tracking measures and milestones, tracks ongoing project progress, controls the budget, and establishes a project office as required. Assembles project teams, selects and negotiates with subcontractors, assigns individual responsibilitie s, identifies appropriate project resources, and provides guidance and direction to project team members. Proactively manages risks, issues, budgets, and scope throughout the project life-cycle. Prepares/presen ts project plans/status reports to organizational leadership, project teams and client/customer groups.
