Classification:
• Regular Full-Time employees are scheduled to work at least forty (40) hours per calendar week for an indefinite period of time.
Class: Training date February 9, 2009
Wages:
• $10.50 – $11.50/hour
• Applicable incentive compensation, based on performance
Location: Boise, ID
Typical Work Hours: Current hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon-Fri. Hours are based on seniority with new hires typically working 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon – Fri.

Job Description: This position promotes and sells Qwest products and services to residential customers by consulting with the customer and gathering and evaluating data to establish their telecommunication needs.
• Receive inbound calls from our residential customers throughout the country
• Promote and sell Qwest products and services by consulting, gathering information, and evaluating customer needs
• Negotiate customers’ requests for installation, removal/changes of service, billing arrangements, and coordinate different departments
• Use various computer systems (20 or more)/screens simultaneously to process service orders
• Ensure customer satisfaction and win our customers’ continued business and loyalty
• Build and maintain strong customer rapport
• Probe, multi-task, and problem solve

Basic Qualifications:
• This position requires the ability to use computers and various software programs
• High School Diploma/GED OR equivalent work experience
• Proactive with a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of six months commission based sales experience
• Call center and sales experience, particularly experience where measurable quotas and goals are achieved is a plus
