Kaplan College’s newest campus scheduled to open soon in Charlotte, NC, and we are seeking applicants for the position of Dental Assistant Instructors. You will prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits required for entry-level positions.

What you will do:
Present well prepared facilitative classroom lectures and activities consistent with the course syllabus.
Facilitate student success in meeting or surpassing course objectives contained in the syllabus.
Promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.
Continually evaluate student preparation and assessments.
Provide students with timely academic information and feedback.
Assist management with driving retention rates.
Complete associated administrative functions within established timeframes
Participate in professional development training as scheduled.
Maintain professional integrity.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree or higher
Dental Care Provider with at least 5 years experience in the Dental field
Dental Radiology Instructor Certified by the State of North Carolina a BIG PLUS
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
CPR and First Aid Certified
Prior adult instructional experience in an ADA Certified Program a BIG PLUS
Front and Back office skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Consistently display the highest levels of integrity
