Unit Description:
Sodexo’s School Services division is in search of a District Manager for anticipated growth in the ‘Great Lakes’ area including Indiana, Michigan and TBD states. Successful candidate must reside within district geography but location is flexible w/in the thumbprint. The District Manager will oversee multiple food service contracts for K-12 Schools and oversee an average of $15 Million Managed volume. Previous experience with multi-unit food service operations preferred.

Job Description:
Position Summary: Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the VP in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the GMs. Basic Education

Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 5 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 5 year(s) You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
