TIBCO EMS Engineer / Architect Qualcomm San Diego
Job Function Be responsible for overall design of EMS server architecture, configuration, and best usage practices for both development and administration. Establish centralized EMS client connection implementation guidelines for all QES application development teams. Perform technical trouble-shooting of TIBCO EMS servers and EMS clients. Be responsible for developing best practices and supporting the various development teams on the best usage of the product and work with the administration team for High Availability and Load Balancing. Also responsible for understanding and communicating authentication and authorization mechanisms for usage of topics and queues.
Skills/Experience TIBCO EMS development and administration – must understand server configuration and process for setting configurations for optimal performance. TIBCO EMS client development primarily in C, C++. Development in Java and TIBCO BusinessWorks a plus. LINUX/Solaris administration required. Must have knowledge of EMS monitoring tools for metric gathering and trouble-shooting.
