MarketStar’s NEG team currently has opportunities available in various markets for part time National Event Representatives who will focus exclusively on driving sales for various manufacturers at selected retail outlet locations.

These positions are open to both current exempt and non-exempt employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Achieve sales goal as set forth by Clients and MarketStar management, and educate customers on client products/services
* Educate and train outlet personnel on client products and programs, and apply expert product knowledge
* Build productive relationships with assigned outlets
* Responsible to effectively complete assigned reporting functions

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school graduate or equivalent. Some college coursework highly preferred
* Minimum of six months of previous retail sales preferred
* Ability to learn quickly
* Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional
* Sound time management and organizational
* Ability to work weekends is required
* Superior verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced interpersonal skills
