PRN RN Medical Oncology (eastside)
Our PRN RN for the Landerbrook Ireland Cancer Center, located in the eastern suburb of Cleveland, will provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using nursing interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Essential duties include: patient documentation; direct patient care/assessment; medication administration; discharge planning, and community resource referral and education. Actively participates in the process for operational improvement and quality improvement; Involved in learning and self-improvement and provides leadership through communication, education and management.
Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
2 years RN experience required, oncology or ICU strongly required. Meet qualifications of Clinical Nurse or Clinical Nurse I with progressive clinical experience in nursing. Demonstrate ability to facilitate change. Demonstrates skills in human relations. Demonstrates excellence in clinical nursing. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies.
Bachelor degree in Nursing from accredited program and evidence of ability to assume responsibility of the Advanced Clinical Nurse role or Clinical Nurse who has demonstrated the ability to assume responsibility of the Advanced Clinical Nurse role.
