Job Description:
Responsible for the financial, applicable technology, and schedule performance of assigned programs within cost limitations and established standards. May coordinate proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs, negotiation and administration of contracts. Authority to make decisions, carry out actions, and direct others in matters related to the duties and goals of this position. Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others. Establishes program plans and milestones and monitors adherence to program master plans and schedules. Develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments. Works across boundaries and orchestrates actions by directing the performance of program teams and functional task elements such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions. Focuses on the customer and acts as primary customer contact on status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business. Makes decisions and sets the course by providing strategic direction and establishing goals. Accountable to provide satisfactory reasons for significant deviations from duties or expected results.
Knowledge: Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Problem Solving: Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Discretion: Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy.
Impact: Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Liaison: Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
Typical Minimum Experience and Education: 2 Years with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Skills: (1) Knowledge of MPM statusing and estimating (2) presentation skills (3) project scheduling (4) ability to function well with a wide variety of customers. (5) Excellent math skills. (6) Experience with commercial and/or JOG software – MPM, JOBSCOPE, MS Office Suite, CQS, Adobe Acrobat. (7) Experience with SOF and/or non-SOF military customers/units a plus (8) Experience with OCONUS long-term personnel and procedures a requirement. Travel is required.
