I was excited to read about Per Diem Occupational Therapist job opening at Gentiva Health Services.

I have Graduation from an occupation therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Commission on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association and eligible for the National Registration Examination of the Occupational Therapy Association. I have two years experience as a physical therapist and having achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, and sponsored by the US Public Health Service and Six months as an Occupational Therapist generally with the tasks and responsibilities focusing on:

• Assess and screen patients’ daily living/working skills and develop a therapeutic retraining program with measurable objectives. Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests of function to patients in their homes or other settings to assist the physician in evaluating the patient’s level of function.
• Confer with the patients’ physicians and other healthcare team members and participate in development/revision of the Plan of Care Treatment.
• Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients in accordance with physician orders to improve/restore strength, coordination, range-of-motion and function or teach compensation measures.

In addition to my extensive experience, I have Current licensure/certification in the state of practice and current CPR certification. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Per Diem Occupational Therapist position.
